SmartBand is an innovative life logging wrist band that lets you keep track of everything you do – your movements, your communication, your entertainment. As if you are not using a Sony smartphone the functionality of the app does not change. This works only with Android 4.4 or later. This app is integrated with Sony Smart Connect. So if you install the app, you can't run it without Smart Connect. Also, you will need the lifelog app (an innovative and animated lifelogging app from Sony) installed to set activity goals, track logged activities and view and edit life bookmarks. For this app to work, you'll need Sony Smart Connect installed in your smartphone, a popular device-to-device connectivity app. With this app, you can decide how your SmartBand interacts with your smartphone and which life logging functions are enabled. This is the official application for Sony Smartband SWR10. This update comes with build number 1.6.0.803 which will replace the previous build number 1.6.0.779 which brought us the support for Android. Sony SmartBand SWR10 app has got a new update in the form of 1.6.0.779 firmware version which brings Android 5.0 Lollipop support along with usual bugs fixing and performance improvements., over older 1.5.0. This looks like a minor update which brings some bug fixes and performance enhancements. Sony SmartBand SWR10 app has got an update again.
